a conference on promoting tourism ties between hubei and south korea was held on november 17, 2022, as a sub event of hubei – south korea friendship week.
it was jointly organized by hubei provincial government and the consulate general of the republic of korea in wuhan.
at the conference, wuhan, xiangyang, yichang and hubei china youth travel service introduced hubeis tourism resources and selected tourism routes to korean guests, such as yellow crane tower park, east lake greenway, three gorges dam, jingzhou ancient city and other scenic spots.
luo yi, general manager of hubei china youth travel service, said that hubeis culture has always been sought after by south korean tourists. the recommended tours at the conference cover the famous scenic spots in the province, and also include south korean tourists favorite three kingdoms culture and taoist culture. we look forward to inviting more tourists from south korea to enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendid culture of hubei.
besides, south koreas gyeonggi province and gangwon province, jeju special self-governing province and daegu metropolitan city also introduced their local tourism resources to the attending guests from hubei.
the chief representative of wuhan office of korea tourism development bureau, said at this conference that hubei – south korea friendship week has set up a platform for friendly exchanges between south korea and hubei. it is hoped that hubei – south korea ties in tourism will be deepened.
